Harness Hook-up for Travel
Your dog needs a seatbelt too!!!

1. Dog Collar (buckle) fastened around both seatbelts (1 seatbelt - both straps), with a tether looped through the collar |
2. Seatbelt stays in place when dog pulls |

3. Tether looped through the collar, then hooked to harness |

It is important for your dog to travel safely. If you do not crate your dog during travel, then you should seatbelt him/her in during travel. If you get into an accident, your mastiff can go through the windshield just like any other 170lb+ human.
Important Notes
Once fastened, make sure all slack is taken out of seatbelts so that they are tight. as in picture # 2 above.
If you leave dog fastened and unattended, ensure dog is in safe position - e.g., seatbelt/hook-up not wrapped or near neck. Best position is for dog to be down and/or extended as in pictures 1 & 3 above.
Keep eye on dog when 1st using this set-up. Dog will not be use to it, and can get tangled in it, and can get straps wrapped around his/her. Dog will eventually get use to it.
Harness - we recommend the Premier Harness. It lays low on the neckline, and focuses pulling/impact energy on the check, and not the neck.
